Power of Saffron Rice Water?
Rice water is used in many face packs as it is loaded with minerals, vitamins, and acids that are essential for healthy, beautiful, and glowing skin. The antioxidants and other acids present in rice water make an organic compound. This compound contains soothing and healing properties.
Saffron is among the most expensive but most beneficial spices in the world. The benefits of saffron are not limited to your body from the inside as you eat or drink it, but you can use saffron for skin too. It is great if you pick saffron for skin pigmentation. The anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial properties of saffron that treat acne nurture the skin and make the skin blemish-free.
How to use Saffron on the face?
Saffron for oily skin
You can use saffron oil and saffron face masks for your skin made with different home ingredients. Like you can add saffron powder or saffron threads in milk or rose water to spray daily as these simple recipes made at home have no side effects.
Saffron for pimples

Saffron is being used from ancient times till now in many different ways to increase beauty and health. Here is one recipe I have made that is super simple yet intense in cleaning up the acne and blemishes of your skin.
- 1/2 cup Uncooked Rice
- 2 cups Water
- 1 pinch Saffron Threads
- In the bowl of rinsed rice, add 2 cups of cold water and swirl it once so that water can travel everywhere. Soak for 30 minutes or for more benefits you can give a boil to the rice. Press the rice from the spoon to release the unwanted chemicals.
- Strain the rice water, add a pinch of saffron, and set aside. Pour this rice water into an airtight jar and keep it in your fridge for a week.
- Pour some of the rice water on a cotton pad and do a massage on your face. Allow it to dry. Make it an everyday skincare routine or twice or thrice a week for softer and smoother skin with vitamins and minerals.
