Omelette is one of the dishes that you can prepare quickly with your favorite or available ingredients, just the way you like. You can add anything into your egg recipes and voila, it will always come out as a good meal. Like many other egg breakfast recipes, Saffron Infused Omelette is also a well-received Persian breakfast as the secret ingredient of this recipe, the saffron threads, add magic into it. But wait, why only in breakfast? You do not have to stick with it for only breakfast, but you can have it anytime in a day; in lunch, in dinner, or even in your evening snack.

Ingredients
- 2 Eggs
- 20 drops Liquid Saffron
- 20-50mg Whole Saffron (Bean sized)
- 2 Tbsp Capsicum (chopped)
- 1 Tomato (Medium)
- 2 rashes Organic Bacon
- Salt and Pepper
- Butter or olive oil to fry
INSTRUCTIONS:
- Beat the eggs in a bowl.
- Put salt and pepper in the egg mixture.
- Add liquid saffron and whole saffron in the mixture.
- Turn on the gas and keep it on medium heat. Put a pan on it to warm it up.
- Add butter and wait until it melts down or you can use olive oil instead.
- Add capsicum in the pan and cook about a minute or two.List Item
- Add tomatoes and cook for another minute or the time enough for the way you like your vegies.
- Add egg mixture spreading all through the pan and give it a good cook for at least 2 minutes.
- Face the other side of the egg towards the pan and cook for a minute.
- Now its time to serve your saffron omelette. An omelette made of Persian saffron recipe that is surely a good change in your usual breakfast.
TIPS:
- Use a non-stick pan or skillet to make the omelette. For two eggs, pick a small pan.
- Pick your eggs that are placed at room temperature before cooking. It’s a nice practice to keep out the eggs from the refrigerator for a while before cooking.
- Prefer butter for rich texture and taste.
- Make sure to put the eggs on the right time, the right time to add eggs in a pan is when the bubbles of the butter are dying down.
- Make sure to cook your egg on medium flame until you achieve a golden color if you like to have a well-done omelette.
