While you can sprinkle Garam Masala on foods like potatoes before cooking, this spice blend actually works best as an addition to already cooked foods. Simply stir a fre teaspoons in or on top of your meal to transform any dish into an authentic Indian flavour explosion. Garam Masala also works really well as a spice paste by adding into coconut milk or as a dip or spread stirred into mayonnaise.
